Microsoft Open Licence is an adaptable licence for SME's and organisations,
with two to five hundred PCs.
The Open Licence agreement lasts two years and is an entry-level
volume-licensing program that allows your organisation to lock into
a discounted price level for the duration of the agreement. There
are two versions of Open License available:
Business; the most basic program with the lowest entry requirements
Volume; a high discount program for organisations able to meet a
larger initial purchase requirement
Open Licence is a cost-effective alternative to buying boxed sets
of Microsoft software because you will receive a discount that reflects
the volume of software bought. The more you purchase, the bigger
the discount. In addition to saving money, you also have the following
benefits:
- Easy software administration
- Re-order what you need, whenever you need it
- No reporting or ongoing contracts
- Low purchase requirements for entry
- Initial purchase price locks in for duration of agreement
A non-perpetual form of this license is available through Microsoft's
Open Subscription Licence.
Microsoft open licence is applicable to most Microsoft products
including: Mirosoft Office; Word, Excel,
Outlook & Access and Microsoft Windows; including XP.
